Name: Miku Shibata
Country: Japan
Major: Digital and Web Design

Miku is a Digital and Web Design major from Japan. She learned about us through her high school and our long-term partner NIC. Many excellent NIC students have found their way to Citrus College and we are proud that Miku is one of them.

Once she completes her program at Citrus College, Miku plans to remain in Japan and work as a Designer. COVID forced her to return home to complete her studies online. While she misses the face-to-face experience provided at Citrus College, she is grateful for the independent learning experience online studying provided as it taught her time management skills to balance work and studying.

Congratulations 2021 Graduates!

It’s graduation season once more. Many ISC students have completed their graduation requirements and are moving on to the next step on their educational pathway. The ISC is so proud of you and your achievements. Keeping up with the shock of mandatory online learning and staying motivated in the face of all the challenges present last year was no easy feat. We commend you for your dedication to your studies and ability to carry on in difficult times. You can view Citrus College's 105th commencement ceremony on YouTube now.

Congratulations and have a great summer!

California is Open!

As of June 15, California is now open without restrictions. Businesses including the magical Disneyland are now operational once more. A plummeting daily infection rate and massive deployment of vaccines in California have allowed us to once more enjoy all the state has to offer. The opening coming just in time for summer has many in high spirits as daily life begins to resemble what we like to think of as “normal” life. In alignment with this news, Citrus College is working on reopening soon and has already begun to return some classes to campus with plans for even more on campus classes this Fall. Have a great summer everyone!
