The ISC would like to recognize our wonderful counselor, Lucinda Over, this month. She has been with Citrus College for many years and with the ISC specifically for only a short time. However, she is a Crucial member to of our team and takes every measure to ensure that the needs of ISC students are met.
Dr. Over’s contributions to the ISC and guidance for our students is much appreciated, especially during the challenging times we face. ISC students and staff alike appreciate Dr. Over and everything she does for the ISC.

The refund policy is changing Spring 2021. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Citrus College has offered a generous refund policy to all students that allowed students to request and receive approval for refunds for a much longer period of time compared to previous semesters. This policy was meant to alleviate some of the stress of the dramatic change in teaching delivery methods campus-wide as a result of the health crisis. After being the active policy for both the Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters, this policy is coming to an end and will not be offered for Spring 2021. Thus, Citrus College will return to the pre-COVID-19 refund policy, which allows for a much shorter refund window. Please keep that in mind while registering for classes this Spring.
New Counseling Scheduler for ISC Students!
A new scheduling option for ISC students is now available! Do you need to make an appointment right away no matter what time or day it is? Now you can. The counseling department now offers ISC students the ability to schedule online instantly with the scheduling system. All you need to do is visit the webpage, and click “Click here to schedule a 45-minute appointment” next to the International Students option, and then provide your details. This is a great effort by the Counseling and Advisement Center to improve the convenience of counseling appointments for ISC students. Take advantage of the scheduler today!.
Chinese New Year Virtual Event
Happy New Year! January first may be over, but the New Year celebrations are not yet over. On February 12, 2021 we welcome the year of the Metal Ox. The ISC will hold a virtual event to ring in the new year on February 12 at 5pm via Zoom. There will be trivia related to the holiday and its many zodiac signs. We will also be giving out Lucky Money in the form of Amazon gift cards to the lucky winners of the trivia event. Join the ISC for the year of the Ox!
