Review Application Requirements

Gather all required documents before starting your application

📋 Required for All Applicants

  • Bank statement — showing a minimum of $27,000 USD
  • Financial Guarantee Form — must be signed by the account owner
    Download this form from the ISC portal after creating your account.
  • Copy of your Passport — color scan or clear photo of the bio-data page
  • Application fee payment — $50 USD (details in Step 3)
  • High School Transcripts OPTIONAL if 18+
    If you are 18 years or older, transcripts are optional but encouraged.
  • English Proficiency Scores OPTIONAL — e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, or similar
Transfer Students — Extra Documents Needed:
If you are currently studying in the U.S. on an F-1 visa, you also need a copy of your current I-20 and copy of your US Visa.
Scan all documents as PDF or high-quality JPG/PNG files before you begin. File size should be under 10 MB each.

Why this step matters: The OpenCCC application assigns your official Citrus College Student ID. You cannot complete the ISC portal application without it.

Create an account or log in If you've never used OpenCCC before, click "Sign Up." Use a personal email address you check regularly — all important messages will go here.
Select Citrus College (Code: 821) When prompted to choose a college, search for "Citrus College" or enter code 821.
Fill out all sections carefully Enter your personal information exactly as it appears in your passport. Double-check your name spelling, birthdate, and country of citizenship.
Submit and note your Student ID After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation email with your Citrus College Student ID (CCID). Write this number down — you'll need it for the next step.
Your Student ID may take 1–3 business days to be activated after submission. You can proceed to create your ISC Portal account (Step 3) in the meantime.

After selecting your application type in the portal, you will be asked to upload:

  • Bank statement (min. $27,000)
  • Signed Financial Guarantee Form
  • Passport bio-data page
  • High school transcripts (if applicable)
  • English proficiency scores (if available)
  • Transfer students only: Current I-20 and US Visa copy

💳 Two Ways to Pay

US Bank Account — Pay via My Citrus College Portal Log into the student portal and navigate to "Pay Fees." Use a US credit/debit card or bank transfer.

Foreign Bank Account — Use PayMyTuition If you are paying from outside the US, use PayMyTuition. It supports payments from international banks in local currencies.

Your application will not be processed until the fee has been received. Keep your payment receipt as proof.
Check your Citrus College student email regularly after submitting your application. Your Acceptance Letter and I-20 document will arrive there.
Download Your Documents from the ISC Portal Log into isc.citruscollege.edu ↗ to download your I-20 and acceptance letter.
Pay the SEVIS Fee Before your visa interview, pay the SEVIS fee at fmjfee.com. Keep the receipt — you will need it for your visa interview.
Schedule Your Visa Interview Contact your nearest US Embassy or Consulate to schedule an F-1 visa interview.
Complete New Student Orientation Visit my.citruscollege.edu ↗ to complete the required new student orientation and check your registration window.

Meet with the ISC Counselor Schedule a counseling appointment for help with class selection and English/math placement.

Traveling to the US? Always carry your I-20, valid visa, and acceptance letter with you when entering the country. Present them to the Customs and Border Protection officer upon arrival.
