Xinyue recently celebrated admission to Columbia University! She credited Citrus’s close-knit community and dedicated faculty for making the achievement possible. When she arrived in the U.S., she found Citrus’s small classes, approachable professors, and supportive counselors ideal for academic and personal growth. Participation in the Honors Program, along with guidance from ISC counselors, and support from the STEM Center, prepared her for the strenuous task of applying to ivy league institutions. Above all, Xinyue highlights the Citrus community for her success. When asked for advice for new students she said, “Be proactive, seek help, and embrace opportunities.”

We are thrilled to celebrate one of our own ISC students, Siqi Pan, as a semifinalist for the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. This honor recognizes exceptional academic talent and leadership, reflecting the high caliber of our student body.

ISC Nature Walk 2026!
Last month, students experienced the breathtaking beauty of our local landscape with an unforgettable nature walk led by the ISC. Nestled in the lush foothills of the San Gabriel Valley, this excursion to Sturtevant Falls offered an immersive escape into the serene wilderness of the Angeles National Forest.
The hike ended at the base of a 50-foot waterfall, the Nature Walk is a highlight of the ISC calendar every year. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow students while exploring the rugged charm of our backyard in the beautiful foothills.
We’re Visiting South Korea & Japan!
We are pleased to announce that our Dean of Enrollment Services, Gerald Sequeira, will visit the vibrant cities of Seoul, South Korea and Osaka, Japan next month at the EducationUSA fairs.
He is excited to meet all of you face-to-face, hear your stories, and is ready to answer any questions you have about your future at Citrus.
