Dinh Nguyen is one of our newest pre-engineering students! Driven by a passion for engineering, he’s on the path to becoming a mechanical engineer. He chose Citrus College for its excellent student services and strong support for his major. He is thrilled to experience everything campus life offers, especially upcoming ISC events such as the ISC Nature Walk later this month. Drawn to the US for its world-class educational opportunities, his goal is to master engineering fundamentals and eventually transfer to a four-year university. Ultimately, he plans to return home and use his new skills to build a better future. Welcome to Citrus! We are glad to have you!

The ISC has a new supervisor! Cinthya Arrieta serves as the Interim ISC Supervisor and Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) while continuing in her role as Citrus College Registrar. A proud graduate of the community college system, she earned an Associate of Arts from East Los Angeles College, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Cal State Los Angeles, and a Master of Science in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University. With 23 years of experience in community college higher education including the past six years at Citrus College she remains deeply committed to student success and we are proud to have her leading the ISC. Additionally, the ISC is saying goodbye to long-time DSO Mary Mincer. She has accepted a new role at Citrus. We are very proud of her accomplishment! Mary will be missed in the ISC. We wish you good luck in your new role!
