Lewis is a new student this Fall at Citrus and a member of the Citrus College football team. He learned about our school through a former student who is also from the UK and played Owl football. Their academic and athletic experience here led to Lewis’s decision to choose Citrus. After Citrus, Lewis plans to transfer out to a four-year school and play more American football. He is excited for the new experience studying in the U.S. and can’t wait to see what opportunities will be available during his journey at Citrus.

Citrus College is full of excitement this season. While the spooky season vibes have drifted away this year, fall is settling in and the holiday season is on the horizon. The ISC will be pivoting to the fall themes as the colder months arrive. Citrus College has many events this fall. The Unity Fair celebrating diversity at Citrus College will be in the campus mall on November 6. The Haugh will host some great shows including Anime in Concert on Nov 8, Disney’s Encanto Sing Along Nov. 15, a performance by Voctave on Dec 13 and much more. Make special note of November 21 as we will “Deck the Halls“ of the ISC. Watch our Instagram and events page for details soon.
ISC Global Recruiting
Citrus College International Student Technician, Mary Mincer, and Dean of Enrollment Services, Geald Sequeira, have been globetrotting for Citrus last month. Together they covered a range of countries traveling across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, The Philippines, India and Japan. They met with many students and schools to spread knowledge of the Citrus College community around the world. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to meet all of you and discuss your educational goals.

STEM Scholarship for ISC Student
ISC Student, Iqra Fardous, from Bangladesh, received the STEM / Edison award for her academic excellence in STEM as a Math major at Citrus College. Iqra has been at Citrus since Spring 2023, is a current student assistant in the ISC, and an English tutor at the Learning Center. She is an excellent addition to the Citrus College community, and we can’t think of another student more deserving of this award. Congratulations, Iqra!
