Name:  Daniil Bunchuk
Country: Russia
Major: Recording Arts

Daniil started at Citrus in Fall 2021. One look at our impressive recording studio, and Daniil said, ‘This is the one.’ In the recording arts program, he noted the extensive hands-on experience on the state-of-the-art equipment as a huge benefit of attending Citrus College. After nearly three years at Citrus, Daniil will begin an OPT after this semester with intentions of taking on the role of a Recording Engineer and hopes to work with foley artists recording sound for media. Upon reflecting on his time at Citrus, Daniil said, ‘The Recording Arts department feels like a family. The experience was unforgettable.’

ISC News

In Spring 2024, the ISC is abuzz with excitement! In addition to our annual Owl Hunt and visits from distinguished guests like the California Community College Chancellor and CSU University Fair representatives, we’re delighted to unveil our refreshed website, designed to make navigation easier for prospective students. Furthermore, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 18th, as Glendora hosts its inaugural Culture Fest, transforming Glendora Ave into a vibrant showcase of global cultures. Lastly, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new international student application, developed in partnership with the Chancellor’s Office, that includes the opportunity to sign up for conditional admission with La Verne University and live in student housing while studying with Citrus College.

Accepted to Berkeley!

Two ISC students, who are also familiar faces in the ISC as Student Assistants, have joined the prestigious ranks of students accepted to UC Berkeley! Both Laurie Desiderio and Hana Hiratai have been accepted to UC Berkeley. In addition to Berkeley, they each have been accepted to other UC schools including UCSD, UCSB, and UCI. They aren’t done there either. Both students have their eyes on even more institutions. We’re crossing our fingers and hoping you reach your highest goals! Congratulations!
