Jinyang learned about Citrus College from his cousin, a current student at Citrus. His cousin’s experience here was the driving factor that led Jinyang to apply and eventually study at Citrus College. He is excited to explore what Citrus has to offer and meet new people on campus as he pursues his academic goals. After Citrus, Jinyang would like to transfer to UCLA to complete his degree and eventually become a software developer. His ultimate goal is to create innovative software in his home country.

ISC Citrus College 110th Anniversary

For 110 years, Citrus College has stood as a cornerstone of the Glendora community. This year, our institution proudly celebrates its remarkable journey, honoring its rich history while looking forward to a future filled with promise. From its humble beginnings as a high school over a century ago to its current status as a community college serving thousands of students, Citrus has consistently adapted to meet the changing needs of its students, offering a diverse range of programs from associate degrees and certificates to continuing education. This anniversary is a testament to the enduring spirit of Citrus College and our commitment to our mission of providing accessible, high-quality education that empowers individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. Citrus’s status as the no. 1 transfer institution to UC Schools three of the last four years underscores that centuries-old commitment. 

ISC Nature Walk

The weather is getting warmer and, as a result, the ISC has an outdoor activity planned for you this month. On Friday, March 21, we are planning our annual nature walk. Last year we enjoyed the vistas and flowing stream of Eaton Canyon. This year we are changing it up and going to Walnut Creek Trail to enjoy the scenic old oak grove nestled in the hills of San Dimas. Sign-Up is open now on the ISC Portal. Mario Kart Tournament

Last month’s Mario Kart tournament delivered thrilling races in the fun, relaxing environment of the ISC Lounge. Veteran players and newcomers alike enjoyed the friendly competition as they sped over classic Mario Kart courses, testing racers’ skills and item management. Participants enjoyed snacks and refreshments between intense races filled with the cartoonish chaos of the Mario Kart brand. Plans are already underway for the next racing event.
