ULV Housing
University of La Verne (ULV) Option

Founded in 1891, the University of La Verne is a private, nonprofit, comprehensive institution founded on four core values: lifelong learning, ethical reasoning, civic and community engagement, and diversity and inclusivity. A federally designated Minorityand Hispanic-Serving Institution, the university serves more than 5,500 students. The university is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, and is nationally ranked as a top-tier institution offering 60+ undergraduate degrees and 20+ graduate degrees. Office of International Services and Engagement The Office of International Services and Engagement specializes in advising international students and scholars, helping them understand and maintain their immigration and visa status. It also organizes orientations, workshops, and other culturally diverse events that help students thrive while adjusting to American culture and the La Verne community.

When applying for admission to Citrus College, students will have the option to submit their application to the University of La Verne simultaneously to qualify for University of La Verne housing.

Homestay Option


Many students choose a home stay option for the opportunity to live with an American family. The student can learn firsthand what family life in the United States is like. Homestay is a great way to make friends and improve English skills. Some homestays are within walking distance of the campus; others are within an easy public bus ride of Citrus College.

Every homestay is different -- some families have children and others do not, some families provide the student with a room and home cooked meals, and others provide the room only.
